Requirements for the Indonesia EVOA

Indonesia eVoA requirements specify what type of documents must be uploaded when applying for a visa to Indonesia online.

Indonesia eVoA is an electronic visa on arrival that significantly facilitates the entire visa application process.

Travelers eligible for an Indonesia online visa can avoid the need to schedule an embassy appointment and go through time-consuming stressful interviews. Instead, the entire application process is to be completed without even leaving home after meeting basic requirements.

To apply for a visa to Indonesia online, an applicant needs to fill out the online form, upload the necessary documentation, and cover the processing fee. Among the required documents, there are only a valid passport and an applicant's face photo.

Additionally, to complete the online application, it is necessary to have access to a working smartphone, tablet, or any other working electronic device with access to a stable Internet connection. It is also essential to have an active email address and valid means of online payment.

If you are not eligible for an Indonesia eVoA or cannot meet the electronic visa requirements, you will need to contact the nearest Indonesian embassy or consulate.

Required documents

Indonesia electronic visa requires meeting very standard requirements, including the documents that must be submitted to the online application.

Applicants for an Indonesia eVoa must attach digital copies of the following two documents:

a passport:

must be issued by a country eligible for the Indonesia eVoA
cannot expire for at least 180 days from the date of planned entry to Indonesia
must have at least one blank page for the entry stamp

Note: Make sure that your passport digital copy is in color and all the data is clear and legible; all four passport corners must be shown.

a face photo:

must be in color and taken on plain and white/light-colored background
cannot include any shadows on the applicant's face or in the background
must present a neutral facial expression
the eyes must be opened
the photo cannot be older than 6 months
must show full head and the front view
